"The world is a better place!"
That is what Alyssa said when she got her new glasses...We were watching T.V. the other day when I realized that she couldn't read the digital clock. And then she informed me that she couldn't read the board at school! So, off to the eye doctor! It was a little traumatic for her but these are the stylish frames she ended up with. We got two for the about the same price as one. We are taking a poll, do we like glasses #1 or #2 better????

Definitely 2, although they are both cute. Who knew Alyssa would be such a cute four eyes?!?!?
Number 2 is the winner! It's a hard choice, since she looks so cute in both pictures.

Oh yes.... I remeber my first pair of glasses! i wanted to crawl under a desk and hide! But then again I didn't because, WOW! The world was beautiful and bright; rthe leaves had trees, U had hopes of seeing the board and passing calculas:) Amen to that! I din't even really think I looked bad, I just did not want to be noticed and I thought everyone would stare at me. But as days faded into weeks, I was in love with those glasses and no one noticed like I thought. Got an "A" in calculas and when I got contacts, I found myself wearing my glasses more because they were comfortable and a lot of people preferred me in them....Why don't I wear them now? My kids broke them and a new pair wasn't "in the budget:)" Just kidding, you've inspired me to get a new pair.
You look GREAT Alyssa! I like #2. Really is a hard choice but #2 makes your face brighter.
Oh! man! now that I see the other 2 comments, Ican see we r goin 2 muddy the water! Gpa and Gma Brunet vote for #1 tho' Gma @ first said #2! We both ended up agreed #1 is softer and more subtle allowing Alyssa's features to shine through! What are actual colors of the frames?
Is everyone maximizing the pics to vote. Just looking at small pics one on top the other Oma said #2. I changed my opinion after maxing and considering one at a time! Oma and Opa stand alone???
we still pic #1! the darker ones are snazzy and bright but U notice glasses first and Alyssa 2nd? Maybe??? Oma still against the majority! I'll look agin!

Definately #2! I love them! I wanted glasses my whole life, and I actually wore FAKE ones in college because I liked how they looked. They were just plain glass, but boy did I lood smart in them. Even now, as an adult, I wear glasses and not contacts and I love how I look in them.
I like #2 because they are trendy and really make a statement. You're stylin, girl!
I like both but would have to say #2 has the edge. Glasses are such an fashion statement these days. They are not like a "third head" like they use to be thought of 40 years ago. Teasing someone about wearing glasses is "so yesterday"!

Oka, I just went and maximized the pics like Gma Brunet suggested. I still like #2, but HAVE to say again that Alyssa is SUCH a beautiful girl!!! I think you should look into modeling. You could save money for college, since we all know BRAINS are even more important than beauty, and you have BOTH!

HI! I vote for number 1. I think that number 2 are cool, but I notice Alyssa's face more with number 1. With number 2, my attention goes to the glasses instead of that beautiful face. I agree with Billie..when will you be old enough to try out for America's Next Top Model??? I love thst show!! Amy
After Alyssa left our house the other day Scott said he thought Alyssa looked good in glasses. He thought she had done a great job in picking her frames!!

I'm going to have to go with number 2 as well - did she already make the purchase? Of course, Alyssa looks absolutely beautiful in them - she just gets prettier and prettier!
i'm impressed at how well you keep up with your blog entries. must be the stay-at-home-mom thing - because as you now, i'm terrible! i haven't written in a month! i seriously can't find the extra second to write! which is pretty pathetic! I liked your comment - made me think people are actually checking the site. another reason why I'm not as motivated to write..i'm sure no one will be reading it! sounds like you guys had a great Thanksgiving!
